FoOd PoiSoniNg!!!!!
My "Bro-in-Law" treated my sis and I to The Rice Table for lunch buffet yesterday, when we were in town for the Isetan Private Sale!! The spread was yummilicious! I love Asian Food!
But alarming to say, all three of us are down with diahorrea today. That says alot about the integrity of the food, doesn't it?
My diahorrea is pretty bad, poor tummy still feels very weird... Even charcoal pills did not help. I had to dash to the toilet every 2 hours during my pathetic 6-hours sleep. And another attack followed right after my first meal of the day. That is a total of 4 dashes! (That makes me a professional sprinter now... Haha.)
My "Bro-in-Law" had the runs 4 times too. And he still went for work today. Poor him. Comparatively, my sis is the luckier one among us. She only had like one single bowel attack this morning. Just one! To think I ate far less than the both of them! Life is unfair! Well, I figured out that sis' well-trained stomach must have had better resistance to baddies in food.
Nevertheless, we thought we were really lucky that the symptoms of food poisoning were not immediate. Just imagine dashing for toilets when we were shopping after lunch. What a mood spoiler it will be!
Anyway, we are speculating it might be the curried beef. That was what my "Bro-in-Law" and I ate the most of. Though I would certainly hope NOT, because that was the dish I enjoy most during the buffet! So I am very determined to think that the not-so-fantastic vegetable curry must have been the culprit!
"Bad Bad Ungrateful Curry Vege, to think that I sided with you when they thought you tasted yucky!"
oh, about the curry beef... *Drools*... Chunky and tender beef cubes stewed in thick aromatic spicy curry sauce... Just thinking of it can still makes me salivate! Ohhh....
I am already craving another visit to The Rice Table for its curry beef!!! I guess having one or two diahorrea never killed anyone, right? Despite all the agony we suffered, I still think its definitely worth another visit!
My philosophy says: Good food is always worth the risk! Isn't it?!
Rice Table, I'll be back real soon!!!
(Erm, no. I don't think I am hopeless lah... Ok, maybe just slightly greedy lah. Haha.)
Disclaimer: My sis is not married, yet.
