I have not blog in a couple of days. Neither have I been studying for the past 2-3days... Feeling panicky now... 84 more days to exams-hell. I honestly know I am in for trouble. I swear I'll start my revision right after this.. really, really!
I went to the Comex 2006 at Expo yesterday with Baby. In fact, we went there twice in a day! Why? Blame it on BLUR ChoCo (thats me), kept thinking yesterday was the last day of the exhibition. Guess what? Baby bought me a Nikon S5!!!! It came with a free 1GB SD card. Yeah!!! Hip hip Hurray!!!! I love it!!! I am so happy I want to do the Kallang-Wave thrice!! Baby's so nice, right? Wahahahaha!! Before you ask -- No, I don't think he was forced into this. Really! My Nikon S5 looks like this. Nice? So slim that strapping it on my shoulders wouldn't break my neck.
And the Freebies...
But why would they give me a free extra battery that doesn't fit? Almost broke my camera's battery flap when I tried to dig out the useless misfit battery with a tweezer!

The noodles serving is so small, and I am not the only one complaining... Overheard a guy at the next table complaining that he finished his noodles in 2 mouthfuls. Oh, did I mention that my noodles came with a free snail-on-vege? The waiter was shocked. Well, maybe they're just trying to keep up with Comex 2006's freebies trend. Hmm.

Yesterday was the first time I saw Baby blew his top! I have never seen he get so angry before! He decided to get a portable solar charger from one of the exhibition booth. After paying in full for it, they inform us that they actually had no stock for the item and that we are buying on pre-order basis! Of the two times that we talked to them and even up to the point when Baby paid for it at the cashier, nobody mentioned anything about pre-ordering!
I understand why Baby blew his top. He hates marketing gimmicks. And they totally deserved it. The young chinese promoter said she forgot to mention it. When Baby raised his voice at her, I kind of felt sorry for her. She is just a part-time promoter, she may not have excellent product knowledge, I have been in the service line and I know these things happens. But for the people behind the counter, they are in the business so they should and must have already know their inventory status. Especially the cashier who knew but only chose to tell us after Baby had paid for it.
Since Baby paid by NETS, getting back the money will be complicated and doubtful. So they said they will deliver the charger to us, and apparently also to many others tomorrow. They better do, or I'll make sure many people will know about this and the brand involved.
